Ukrainian Easter eggs, known as pysanky, are a thousands of years old art using wax resist and dye to stencil the ornate traditional designs of the Ukraine as well as several other Eastern European cultures.
Let’s get creative and create our own Ukranian egg using the different designs or line designs that you see on the Ukranian eggs and join the community fun and hang your egg in the window for the Community Egg Hunt!
It can be any size and you can use paints, markers, paint…whatever you have at home. Please send me a picture of it to my email: email@example.com and have it in your window this week. Remember Easter is April 12! Have fun!
