Pope John students Lane Bartak, Blake Hupp, Conor Ramold, Luke Henn, RJ Lierman, Kyle Schumacher, Austin Bauer, and Ervin Dohmen made the trip to Niobrara to deliver items the schools collected for Flood Relief. Ed Moser drove the bus and the students were accompanied by Pope John staff member Brenda Kuhlman.
Pope John XXIII Central Catholic, St. Boniface Elementary and Elgin Public Schools worked together to collect items for flood recovery. School families and community members donated items such as personal hygiene supplies, cleaning products, and diapers for the community of Niobrara. On Wednesday, March 27 the donations were loaded and delivered to Niobrara Public Schools.
Pope John Administrator, Betty Getzfred stated, “We would like to thank everyone who donated. The community of Niobrara was very grateful to receive these items.”
