What grade do you teach? First

What is one of your hidden talents or something people don’t know about you? I’m not a fan of spiders.

How do you spend your summer breaks? I enjoy spending time with family and friends, taking our dog on walks, and working in my flower beds. This summer I’m looking forward to spending my days with Mylah.

If you weren’t a teacher, what would you be? I’d probably run my own daycare.

What is your favorite dish from the cafeteria? Vegetable beef soup and pull apart bread!

What’s the best thing about being a Catholic School teacher? The best thing about being a Catholic School teacher is being able to continuously build a stronger relationship with God while helping my students do the same. God is good and teaching about His goodness fills my heart with so much joy. At our school we are able to pray, attend mass, and read out of the Bible together. There’s nothing better than teaching in an environment where we’re all constantly reminding each other how much God loves us.

If you could take the students on a field trip to anywhere in the world, where would you take them? I think they’d enjoy a field trip to the San Diego Zoo or The White House.
