On Tuesday morning, St. Boniface Elementary School in Elgin said goodbye to its’ class of eight graders. The event was celebrated during Mass at St. Boniface Church and was followed by a reception for the graduates.  St. Boniface Principal, Betty Getzfred and teacher Scott Becker presented the graduates with their certificates.  Two students were selected to receive the Delbert Salber Memorial Tuition Scholarship to Pope John XXIII Central Catholic to continue their Catholic education.  Scholarship winners were Eliza Borer, daughter of David and Lindy Borer and Kaitey Schmacher, daughter of Kevin and LIsa Schumacher.

Graduates were: Eliza Borer, daughter of David and Lindy Borer; Natalie Burenheide, daughter of Gary and Julie Schiltmeyer; Darby Carstens, daughter of Niki Moore; Kellan Hoefer, son of Jeremy Hoefer and Autumn Hoefer; Landon Kallhoff, son of Josh and Tonya Kallhoff; Olivia Klein, daughter of Martin and Amy Klein; Juliana McNally, daughter of Joe McNally and Jill McNally; Kaitey Schumacher, daughter of Kevin and Lisa Schumacher.
