Congratulations to our “C” and varsity volleyball teams on their wins over Lutheran High Northeast yesterday.
Good Luck to our football team traveling to play at St. Francis. Game begins at 7:30 this evening.
Homecoming activities will begin Sunday evening in the St. Boniface Gym with coronation ceremonies beginning at 7:00 followed by activities. Monday will be “No Mirror Monday. Reminder that Pope John students are encouraged to dress up and be creative but please no leggings or holes in jeans.
Brenda shared a spreadsheet with all high school students to sign up for pizza for homecoming dance. The deadline is Wednesday at noon so be sure to sign up. There is a limit of *4* slices per person. If your date is from EPS/PJ they will need to fill out their information on their own line. If you did not receive the spreadsheet, please contact Brenda.
Students—if possible do not park close to the driveways. A semi could not get out of the driveway due to lack of turning space.
One Act call backs will be at 7:20 Monday morning. Thanks to everyone who tried out, but the directors need to see the following Matthew, Linus, Sam, Skyler, Emma Lea and Carter.
September calendar items are due in the office by dismissal today.
The FFA chapter will be selling mums the week of September 12th. The exact times the greenhouse will be open is not set yet, but this will be a first come first serve basis instead of the usual pre-order. As usual, the mums will be of high quality and at a great price.
FFA members – ** Dues/Release forms are due back by September 6th. Extra copies in the Ag room if you misplaced yours. T-Shirt sign-up needs to be done ASAP so the order can be placed.

PJ students are asked to sign up for Jr. Right to Life in the office by Tuesday, August 30. Brief meeting on Wednesday August 31st at 7:40 a.m. in the Science room. Mr. Kratochvil and Mrs. Schumacher are Jr. Right to Life sponsors this year. Choose Life!
