It was a GREAT day to host the District D2-3 Speech Meet! The team saw great success today, qualified 8 events for state, and placed 3rd as a team! 5th place – Kinley D. in Entertainment 5th place – Christian P. in Humorous State Qualifiers are: 3rd place – Harlie T. in Poetry, 3rd place – Jovie B. in POI, 3rd place – Jovie B. in Persuasive,3rd place – Camry K., Brooke K., Matthew K., Aiden K., & Tessa B. in OID, 2nd place – Olivia K. in Informative, 2nd place – Tessa B. in Serious, 1st place – Reese S. in Serious and 1st place – Brooke K. & Aiden K. in Duet.

The Neligh Mill has an opening for a Tour Guide position this summer. Tuesday – Saturday, 28 hours per week. The starting date in May is flexible. Must be 16 years old. Apply by 3-14-25 at statejobs.nebraska.gov or for more information contact the Neligh Mill at 402-887-4303.
The City of Elgin is hiring the following positions: Pool manager, assistant pool manager, full and part time lifeguards and summer maintenance person. See poster in the front hall.
Rural St. John’s is having their annual Fish Fry this evening. If any house or students need hours, please let Brenda know. They would appreciate any help you can give.
Dress Code for retreats – jeans and a PJ or Wolfpack t-shirt, sweatshirt or hoodie.*SACK LUNCH is needed. Students also need to bring a notebook, pencil and water bottle. Bibles will be provided.
For anyone who rented a tux through Roxi’s Elegant Bridal in Norfolk for prom this weekend, Emily Borer will return the tux if it is brought to school by 8:15 a.m. on Monday, March 24th. Please lay it on the chair outside the office and make sure all pieces are accounted for.
