National FFA Week: *Monday* – Official Dress Picture 8:15 a.m. EPS Gym Official FFA Dress Day for all FFA members *Coloring Contest for all elementary (both schools) begins (officers deliver to every classroom at each school) *Drive Tractor to School Day *Tuesday* – Who’s Calve is Who’s? – Don’t skip leg day! Pictures of the chapter officers’ “calves” will be posted by each school’s office. Form will be available to match picture with the officer. *Wednesday* – FFA Day! Wear FFA T-shirts *Thursday* – Teacher Appreciation Day *Friday* – Ice Cream Day. Winners of coloring contest and ‘calve’ guess will be announced
Congratulations to our girls’ basketball team on their win over Boyd County last Thursday. They will play Maywood-Hayes Center this Friday at Kearney Catholic. Game time is 6:00 p.m.
Congratulations to our Dance team—they placed 6th in the Hip Hop Division and 7th in Pom at State Dance last Friday in Grand Island.
Congratulations to Carter B. on placing 3rd at State Wrestling.
Elgin Public Schools has revised their cell phone use rules and students must keep cell phones in their lockers all day. PJ students who have classes at EPS must now keep their cell phones in their POPE JOHN *lockers *- you should not take it with you to EPS.
Next week for boy’s subdistrict basketball we are hosting the games. The southeast gym door at the gym will be locked. All players, managers, coaches, and fans must enter through the north main doors of the gym. Clean up for the games is as follows: ***Student Council will clean up on Monday, February 20th All girls in grades 9-12 will clean up on Tuesday, February 21st National Honor Society will clean up on Thursday, February 23rd
