Congratulations to the following students placing in the 2025 Americanism Essay sponsored by American Legion Auxiliary Elgin Unit #229 and thank you to Mrs. Grundmayer for overseeing this project. 7th and 8th grade division-receiving Honorable Mention were Raaf and Lillian. 9th and 10th grade division-Michael Selting received 2nd and placing 1st was Brooke. Her essay will be forwarded on to the State level. Honorable Mention went to Christian and Samantha. 11th and 12th grade division-Camry received 3rd, Kaitey 2nd and placing 1st was Olivia with her essay forwarded on to the State level.
