The FFA chapter will be selling mums this year the week of September 12th. The exact times the greenhouse will be open is not set yet, but this will be a first come first serve basis instead of the usual pre-order. As usual, the mums will be of high quality and at a great price!
Homecoming is just around the corner — Candy Gram forms are available in the office.
One Act tryouts will be next Tuesday and Wednesday (August 23rd and 24th) in the library at 6:30 p.m. There will be a signup sheet in the office on a first come choice of time slots and nights.
Juniors and seniors – if you would like to be an EMHC and/or lector please let Mrs. Schumacher know by Friday. Mrs. Schumacher said to pray about it.
The EPPJ Cross Country Store is up and set to close on Tuesday, September 6th at 10:00 a.m. Here is a link: eppj-cross-country-2022.itemorder.com/ Also note that August 17 at 10:00 a.m. is the last day for volleyball gear & next Tuesday Aug 23 at 10:00 a.m. is the last day for football gear. Elementary students are reminded to WAIT for the teacher by the north doors at the end of the school day before going outside. Students are not allowed to use the playground equipment while waiting for rides.
If anyone would like some fresh garden vegetables, please help yourself. They are on the picnic table in front of Mr. Heelan’s house (formerly Dennis Suhr’s). Enjoy!

Reminder that all JH and any student taking a physical education class must have a physical before you may participate. Be sure to have the physical and the NSAA signature page completed.

A sack with school supplies was left in the Art Room and may be claimed in the office if you left it there.

Semester Tests continue today for periods 2,4,6 and 8. Pope John will have lunch at 11:43 a.m. and St. Boniface at 12:30 p.m.
Golf Award Program this evening at 7:00 @ EPS.
Students who did not have a chance to sign up to be part of next fall’s One Act should come to the office after announcements this morning to do so. A play will be selected on the number signed up.
Sophomores–if you indicated you would like to serve in the capacity as an EMHC or Lector make sure you logged into the site to register. Brenda will check with you today to see how many have completed this.
