Congratulations to our JV and JH “A” volleyball teams on their wins over CWC yesterday and the JH “B’ team split game wins.
Students in PreK-11th grade should have received picture packets. Be sure to take them home and St. Boniface students should return them to their teacher and not the office. Pope John students—you should keep them until pictures on Thursday.
State Range Judging Results: 187 juniors and seniors (senior division), along with 216 freshmen and sophomores (junior division) from across the state competed in the competition. Elgin’s top score came from Isaac H. As a sophomore in the junior division, he placed 8th overall and he and his teammates Kayton Z., Haley P., and Grady D. placed 8th overall as a team among nearly 50 other teams! In the senior division, Samuel H. was the high scorer. He placed in the top 25% with a 27th-place finish. His teammates Baylee B., Callie H., and Taylor B. were the 11th-place team out of 39. Great job to all the FFA kids on a great range judging season!
Due to conferences, there will be NO one act practice Wednesday evening. Practice will be for EVERYONE (cast and crew) on Thursday morning at 7:10 a.m. Future practices will be for everyone on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 and Thursday mornings at 7:15.
