Congratulations to all the FFA members on their performances at the District X LDE contests last Wednesday. Highlights include: Placing 1st in Cooperative Speaking was Samuel H. and placing 2nd in Jr. Public Speaking was Baylee B. The middle school quiz bowl kids (Kayton, Jarek, Trey R. and Kyndall) placed 3rd! All of these individuals will be competing at State FFA in April!
Students please remind your parents to turn in $25 for the CCPJ Breakfast (Cassandra C. Chelsy D., Jeremy H., Josh Kallhoff, Niki M. & Paul R.)
Dance practice Thursday morning at 7:00…before Student Council Mtg.
If anyone would like to order district wrestling t-shirts the cost is $14.00, with last name and/or weight on the back the cost is $20.00. Shirts will be delivered the Friday of Districts to each coach to hand out. Mrs. Schiltmeyer is looking for students to help with dishes and valet parking at Evening with Friends on Sunday, January 30th. If you can help, please talk to her by this Friday at noon.
Basketball games against Plainview will be live streamed on the Elgin Eagles youtube page. Home games next Thursday against H/LHF will be live streamed as well as on the radio at 97.5 KEXL out of Norfolk. Friday’s games varsity games will be live streamed at www.youtube.com/channel/UCT1be32GLF0WwOVxfm5Oa7w KBRX 102.9 out of O’Neill will also be broadcasting on the radio.
