Water will be shut off sometime today in order for the city to replace some fire hydrants. We will let you know as soon as we are contacted with a time.
Congratulations to our volleyball team on their wins over Riverside and Neligh-Oakdale yesterday.
We will begin recycling aluminum cans (ex. Kickstarts, etc.). There is a labeled garbage can by the pop machine. Please remember to recycle the cans instead of throwing them away.
Congratulations to Linus B. –he received 1st place in 8th grade science and math yesterday at the JH Scholastic Contest at Spalding Academy.
The one-act team is looking for a pickup and trailer to haul their set to competitions this fall. If you know of someone that is willing to help, please contact the school or Karmen Sauser.
Students in grades 9-12 need to sign up for pizza for homecoming by at 10:00 this morning in the office.
Boone Central Schools & Boone County Health Center are joining up to sponsor a Women’s Self Defense class to be held on Saturday, November 17th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Albion. Females ages 14 and older are encouraged to sign up. Cost is $20 and lunch is provided. Registration deadline is November 12th. For more information, see the poster by Mrs. Schiltmeyer’s office.
