Good Luck to our JH and JV volleyball teams as we host CWC at 3:30 this afternoon in the St. Boniface Gym and to the JH football team playing at 5:00 p.m. @ EPS.

Volleyball leave times–Tuesday the bus will leave at 4:00 p.m. from EPS (non players not going be sure to let a coach know).  On Thursday the bus will leave 5:30 p.m. from EPS.

The Junior Right-to-Life Group is sponsoring a Life Chain on Sunday, the 7th, following the 10:00 a.m. Mass in Elgin. Students, faculty, and community members are all invited to join them from 11:00 to noon on the sidewalk west of the church on this RESPECT LIFE SUNDAY.  Posters will be provided to hold during this silent witness. Please join us.

NHS applications were put in lockers on Tuesday.  The deadline is November 2nd.  If you did not receive an application but think that you should have, please see Mrs. Borer.  You needed to have a 3.0 cumulative GPA at the end of last semester. 

Any student who plans to apply for a scholarship for the MARCH for LIFE is reminded that the deadline is October 1st.

Our all school Eucharist celebration will be this afternoon at 2:45 p.m. in the St. Boniface Church.

A reminder that this Thursday is the last day students may wear shorts to school.

Candy grams are available in the office sponsored by the Junior Class.  Deadline is this Thursday at noon.  (no school on Friday)

Congratulations to the FFA members competing in District X (North) range judging competition this past Monday.

Kyle S. – 6th overall, Hunter R. – 14th, Kira W. -19th  out of 48 in the Sr. Division.  In the Jr. Division Marissa P. was 17th overall and Kirsten K. was 18th overall out of 105 individuals.  Next week Kyle, Hunter, Kira and Faith K. will be competing in the State Range Judging contest held near Imperial.   Good Luck!
