The award-winning a cappella group Tonic Sol-fa will be coming to perform at the St. Boniface gym on October 24!  Advance tickets will be $15, and tickets will be available at the door for $20.  More information about ticket sales will be coming soon.  Mark your calendars!

2018-19 Enrollment Shows Growth

Pope John XXIII and St. Boniface Catholic Schools has a total enrollment of 133 students for the 2018-19 school year. Pope John XXIII Central Catholic, which offers grades 7-12,  graduated a class of sixteen seniors in May and they were followed  by a seventh grade class of eight students. The school also had three new families enroll, which added four new students. Total enrollment at Pope John is 53 students.

St. Boniface Elementary School, which serves preschool through sixth grade has seen a strong increase in enrollment. The school had an increase of nine students from the previous year and four new families.  The incoming preschool class has fourteen students and was split into a morning and afternoon session due to the strong numbers. Combined enrollment for both schools increased by two students when compared with 2017-2018, which was 131 students.

FFA freshmen, sophomores and chapter officers will be attending FFA EDGE in Ord on Wednesday, August 29th. Lunch is provided; bus will leave EPS at 7:15am. We will return by 3:40 p.m. Members should wear their new FFA shirts and nice jeans or slacks.

FFA members working at Rae Valley Days this weekend remember what time and be expecting a text from your senior officer leader as a reminder. Wear an FFA shirt and your new shirts are in! Pay before you pick it up!

Good Luck to our C/JV and varsity volleyball teams as they travel to Lutheran High Northeast.  Team members are dismissed after 7th period and the bus will leave at 3:00 this afternoon.  First match is at 5:00 p.m.  LHNE is having a Potato Bar during the games.   Cost is $5 and includes toppings, dessert and drink.
