Reminder that dinner theatre tickets and money is to be turned in to the office today.  Each family is required to sell 10 tickets.  Many people in the community and our school have not been asked!!

Short meeting for anyone going out for girl’s basketball today in Mr. Eisenhauer’s room after school.

Junior and senior parents are reminded to pay their Post Prom fee in the office ASAP!

JH students need to report to 5th period after lunch today.

9-12th students and Mrs. Evans, Sister Pat, Father Vogel, Mrs. Payne, Sandi and Brenda will be attending the “Gosnell” movie in Norfolk.  K-12th students will eat lunch at 11:50 a.m. with the high school eating first.  We will leave at 12:30  and will not be back in time for the afternoon bus routes.  Periods 1-4 classes will be held.

Sophomores will be taking the ASVAB test this morning in the library until approximately 11:00.  Please do not use the library during this time.

All Souls’ Day Mass will be celebrated at 8:15 this morning in the St. Boniface Church.

JH students will eat at 11:30 a.m. and leave at noon with EPS for the Choral Clinic at Elkhorn Valley.  A concert will be presented at 5:30 this evening.

Francis and Isidore Houses will work the paper drive tomorrow.  Please check with your grandparents and elderly community members to see if they need assistance with their papers.

Good Luck to our volleyball team as they compete in district finals tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. in Albion with Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family.  Bus will leave at 1:15 p.m. from EPS.  We will do a “red out” at the game
With a win tomorrow the girls qualify for state next Thursday. State shirts will need to be ordered and paid for by

Christmas Ribbon Tree

The applications for the Ribbon Tree will be available on Tuesday, October 30, at the Willows, Golden Living Center, Heritage Bank, Pinnacle Bank, AMH Family Practice, Neligh Clinic, Neligh-Oakdale Pre-school, Health and Human Services Office, Thriftway,  Food Pantry, Neligh Library, and at the Neligh-Oakdale Public Schools. In Elgin, the applications can be picked up at Dean’s Market, the Elgin Public School or St. Boniface. The applications need to be returned or mailed to Health and Human Services: 501 M Street, Neligh, NE 68756.  (or email to Patti.Brady@nebraska.gov).  This ongoing project sponsored by the Neligh-Oakdale FCCLA in conjunction with HHS provides families as well as residents of the Golden Living Center and Willows with an opportunity for a better Christmas. The deadline for the applications is Tuesday,  November 12th.

If you’d like to purchase a gift for the Ribbon Tree, you can find them on the Christmas trees at Heritage Bank, and Pinnacle Bank in Neligh after November 19th.

As you know, our Grocery Sales Project begins today and ends on Nov. 15. Each family will be given a packet today. Our family goal is $1,500 and the school goal is $100,000. For years we have sold more than our goal. Will we do it again this year? We already have $1,000 from a patron who winters in a warmer climate. That’s a good start! When we reach $25,000, all will receive the first treat.

Good Luck to our JH wrestling team as they compete at Elkhorn Valley at 3:30 today.  They will leave at 2:15 p.m.

Volleyball District finals will be Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Boone Central with Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family.  The bus will leave at 1:15 p.m. from EPS.
