St. Boniface Elementary Receives Grant for New Program
Sixth grade families at St. Boniface Elementary in Elgin will benefit from a new program offering made possible by a grant from the Omaha Archdiocesan Education Fund.
The program called LoveEdhelps empower parents to teach both the theology and science of human sexuality within the context of God’s plan for love and life. It helps young people discover the beauty and the purpose of their sexuality, which is fully articulated in Catholic teaching. LoveEd doesn’t just teach the facts of life, but the meaning of life.
Sessions will be offered December 3rd, 12th, and 19th and facilitated by Steve and Becky Kerkman of Elgin. The goal of the program is to assist parents in raising children that are strong, smart and pure.
