Elgin’s Hometown Christmas event is looking for 2-3 students to work at a build-a-gift/craft table on Wednesday, December 7 from 5-7 p.m. Students in grades 7-12 who are available are asked to sign up in the school office by this FRIDAY. *Great opportunity to have some fun with the little kiddos building gifts/crafts!

Congratulations to our one act members “Ug, The Caveman Musical” on their 1 st place win at NVC yesterday. Skyler M. received overall actress award, outstanding performance awards to Sam H., Skyler M., Linus B., Emma Lea R., Jack B., Matthew D. and Cale K.
Good Luck to Reese, Linus and Emma Lea participating in All State Music throughout the week. They will leave at 2:00 p.m.
Today is the last day of grocery sales. Please turn in any forms and money right away this morning after homeroom. Mrs. Borer has a lot of completed certificates in her classroom to pick up if you were gone at One Act yesterday. Remember that gift card orders may take a little longer before we get them in. If you are still in need of sales, the office has some names for you. Also, if you met your 75% goal and have not gotten your ice cream cup reward, you can get it from the office after lunch.

Congratulations to the FFA Jr. Livestock Judging Team of Samantha D., Callie H., Jarek E., and Taylor B. for earning district runner-up honors in the District X FFA contest on Tuesday. There were 205 competitors. Sam was 4th overall, Callie was 12th, Jarek 21, and Taylor 22nd. This qualifies the team to compete at state FFA next spring! In the Sr. Division, the team of Cale K., Taylynne, Carter and Baylee B. tied for 5th place. We are waiting to see if they qualified for state.
