Today we add the symbol of Mary and the Infant Jesus to the Jesse tree.  During these weeks of Advent we have waited for the birth of Jesus in our hearts once again.

We will have a 1:00 p.m. dismissal today.  Wishing everyone a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year.  Classes will resume on Friday, January 4^th.

Congratulations to our JV and varsity girls basketball teams on their win over Spalding Academy yesterday.

Good Luck to our basketball teams as they compete in the Holiday Tournament in Madison on the 28^th and 29^th of December.  Both teams will play Emerson-Hubbard on the 28^th.  Girls at 2:30 p.m. and boys at 4:15 p.m.  Games on Saturday TBD.

Happy Birthday to Onesa R., Jazmine M., Skylar R. & Cale K. who will celebrate their birthdays over the holiday break.

Students–all food items must be taken out of lockers before leaving for Christmas break.

Anything left on the floor or on top of the lockers in the locker room at EPS will be taken to the bargain box if left there after today.

The symbol we add to the Jesse tree today is a lily.  This reminds us of the Virgin Mary who was chosen to become the Mother of Jesus.  She is our Mother too.

Reminder that all need to bring a sack lunch tomorrow.

Good Luck to our JV girls (playing 2 quarters) and varsity basketball teams as we host Spalding Academy today at
5:15 p.m.   Games will be on STRIV TV.  Gonzaga House will clean up after games on Thursday.

Students are allowed to wear an ugly Christmas sweater and appropriate jeans or school slacks tomorrow. If they wish to not participate, they must wear school dress code.

Make sure that you bring your big gift for your advent friend tomorrow for our exchange.

The symbol added to the Jesse tree today is carpenter’s tools.  They remind us of Joseph of Nazareth who was chosen to be the foster father of Jesus.  He provided for the Holy Family by working as a carpenter.
