Today we add a picture of the Blessed Virgin Mary to the Jesse Tree. This symbol reminds us of the Virgin Mary who was chosen to be the mother of God. Because she said “Yes” to God’s plan, she became the Mother of our Savior, Jesus.

All School Pope John Alumni Memorial Mass will be this morning at 8:15 in the St. Boniface Church.

Good Luck to our basketball teams as we travel to Plainview.  JV girls will play 4 quarters at 4:30 p.m. followed by varsity games. Good Luck also as they travel to play Riverside @ Spalding tomorrow. No JV game will be played.

Senior breakfast is this Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until noon in the St. Boniface Gym. Please come and support our senior class.

Good Luck to our basketball teams as we travel to Plainview.  Players and managers are dismissed at 2:45 p.m.  JV girls will play 4 quarters at 4:30 p.m. followed by varsity games.  Good Luck also as they travel to play Riverside @ Spalding tomorrow.  The bus will leave at 2:10 p.m.  and no JV game will be played.

An informational meeting about this year’s musical, Cinderella, will be held tomorrow morning at 7:20 in the music room.  Auditions will be held on Monday, December 10th at 6:30 p.m.

The Elgin FFA Chapter has been completing a December service project every for the past few years. This year the members have decided to collect items for military persons deployed. Operation Shoebox embraces a mission of providing hands on support for our troops deployed overseas.
