Congratulations to the following FFA members who competed in the 2019 State Range Judging Contest Wednesday.
Senior Division Contestants: Faith, Kirsten, Ally, Alyssa, Tyler, Haley. Junior Division Contestants: Kali, William, Ethan, Paiton, Carter, Cale. In the senior division there were 209 individuals and 67 teams. The team of Kirsten, Faith, Ally and Alyssa were 9th overall. Kirsten was 21st, Faith was 30th and Ally 46th. They were all in the top 25%.
In the junior division there were 269 individuals and 78 teams. The team of Ethan, Paiton, Cale and Carter were 9th overall. Ethan was 37th, Paiton was 41st, Cale was 46th and Carter was 67th all in the top 25%. Great job to all of you and all the Elgin FFA kids that range judged this year. It was a great year!

In the Senior Division Faith K.was the overall winner while her team of Olivia L. (3rd overall), Tyler I. (4th overall) and Kirsten K. (5th overall) were the 1st overall team! Marissa, Haley and Alyssa also finished in the top 10. In the Junior Division, Cale K. was the 2nd overall winner (missing out on 1st, by 1 point) and his team members Kali D. (4th overall), Willliam H. (5th overall) and Ethan H. (8th overall) were the 1st place team. Paiton H. was the 9th overall Ind.
