1. Thank you to all members that took time to volunteer at Rae Valley Day’s. As always they are grateful for your help!
2. Remember to be getting your forms and due/shirt money back to Mrs. Schwartz by this Wednesday, August 29th
3. FFA Freshmen, sophomores and officers – Bus leaves EPS at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday morning for EDGE in Ord. Wear you FFA shirt and nice pants/jeans. Lunch is provided.
4. Range practice #2 is set for Wednesday after school and sports practices.
5. A few members are volunteering at Jerry’s Feed Service Supper this Wednesday evening. Please be to their Mill site (across from the sale barn to the east) around 6:30 p.m. Thank you!

Reminder to FFA members to pay for dues and your t-shirts before August 29th. Many of you have already, thank you!

FFA freshmen, sophomores and chapter officers will be attending FFA EDGE in Ord on Wednesday, August 29th. Lunch is provided; bus will leave EPS at 7:15am. We will return by 3:40 p.m. Members should wear their new FFA shirts and nice jeans or slacks. 

Safety Issue—all Pope John students need to remain in the lunch room until 1:00 p.m.

FFA members working at Rae Valley Days this weekend remember what time and be expecting a text from your senior officer leader as a reminder. Wear an FFA shirt and your new shirts are in! Pay before you pick it up! 

Reminder to students who signed up for the EMHC/Lector Training to be held this Sunday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Norfolk from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.  (Breanna B., Brynn D., Luke H., Kayce K., Faith K., Conor R., Maddie S., Lauren S. & Kyle S.).

Good Luck to our C/JV and varsity volleyball teams as they travel to Lutheran High Northeast.  Team members are dismissed after 7th period and the bus will leave at 3:00 this afternoon.  First match is at 5:00 p.m.  LHNE is having a Potato Bar during the games.   Cost is $5 and includes toppings, dessert and drink.

Welcome to the 2017-18 school year.  We would like to welcome the new students to our school community.

We will have an All School Prayer Service at 8:15 this morning in the front hall.  Classes will meet on shortened schedules with the Eucharist celebrated at 11:20 a.m. followed by lunch.  Dismissal is at 1:00 p.m.
