Congratulations to our speech team on receiving district runner up yesterday. 1st places: Skylar R. in Serious Prose, Linus B. in Extemporaneous, Skylar, Kaylee, Emma, and Ally in OID. 2nd Emma Lea in Poetry, 3rd places Ally in Entertainment, Jack in Humorous Prose, and Linus, Cale, Brooklyn, Skyler M., and Matthew in OID. 5th place Sam in Entertainment and Emma Lea and Ellie in Duet. Qualifying for State: Linus in Extemp, OID team (Skylar R, Kaylee, Ally & Emma), Emma Lea R. in Poetry, Skylar R. in Serious Prose, Jack in Humorous, OID (Skyler M., Brooklyn, Linus, Matthew & Cale).

*Biotechnology Team*: 2nd Place Team out of 11 Teams. Ethan H. tied for 2nd, Paiton H. tied for 3rd and Cale K. was 18th out of 52 individuals. The team of Ethan, Paiton, Cale and Jack W. will compete in the state contest Thursday, March 25th at 1:00 p.m.
*Floriculture Team*:4th Place Team out of 14 teams. Emily M. was 14th, Theanna D. was 16th, Lexi B. was 19th and Marissa P. was 21st. This team will compete in the state competition Wednesday March 24th at 9:00 a.m.
*Agronomy Team:*6th Place Team out of 14 teams. Jordan L. was 6th overall and was 11th out of 67 individuals. The team of Jordan, Alyssa, Alyssa B. Harlie B. and Austin G. will compete in the state competition Tuesday, March 30th at 1:00 p.m.
*Nursery Landscape Team*:5th Place Team; Alternates to State. Alyssa B. was the 13th overall Ind, Kali D. was 15th and Natalie B. was 16th out of 37 individuals.
